After Nokia's tie up with Vserv.mobi to create a challenge for windows phone app developers, BlackBerry has announced a game on contest for those creating Gaming apps on its platform.
As a part of expanding the existing portfolio of games in the BlackBerry World, BlackBerry has announced the launch of the Game On Contest, for game developers. Winners across categories stand a chance to win cash prizes up to Rs. 2, 50, 000 and BlackBerry smart phone devices.
The contest aims to foster development of gaming applications across the BlackBerry 10 OS and concludes on November 30, 2013.
Recently, Nokia has tied up with mobile advertising exchange Vserv.mobi to announce a $100,000 Vserv challenge for developers on DVLUP, Nokia's new gamification Windows Phone developer rewards program.

Best overall game: Rs. 1, 00,000 + BlackBerry10 limited edition smartphone
Best action game: Rs. 30, 000 + BlackBerry Z10 smartphone
Best strategy game: Rs. 30, 000+ BlackBerry Z10 smartphone
Best arcade game: Rs. 30, 000+ BlackBerry Z10 smartphone
