Vertu drives in Italian car maker to create Vertu Ti Ferrari

Do not read this post if you don't own a yacht, a penthouse in a Dubai and a bungalow in Lutyens' Delhi. Yes, you will need that kind of money to own this new phone from Vertu, the high-end luxury mobile phone manufacturer.
The Vertu Ti Ferrari exclusive handset combines Vertu's famed design, technology and luxury services with special material and services from the Ferrari stables. The phone will showcase the prowess of Ferrari Design Director Flavio Manzoni, who integrated the ergonomic lines of the Ferrari F12berlinetta in the phone. The handset is wrapped in the same finely stitched Ferrari leather that adorns the car's cabin, whilst the handset pillow features the distinctive Ferrari carbon weave using coloured AlutexTM composite. Metal elements of the phone are protected by a Diamond Like Coating (DLC) similar to that used to protect the engine components of the F12berlinetta. Now, how is that for a phone.
The phone will also feature a unique Ferrari app that consolidates content from the world of Ferrari into a single place, including a live feed from the Ferrari MagazinePlus, there will be the Vertu Concierge and Vertu Life, providing owners with instant, personalised news, information and assistance wherever they may be in the world.
Vertu is available from around 500 stores, including 70 Vertu Boutiques, in 66 countries. In India, the phone is available at Ethos in Mumbai's CR2 Mall. Obviously, the price is too high to be divulged.
